It Took Us 2 Minutes to Find Black Managers at Michels Corp.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and reporter Corri Hess ran a huge story five days before the election that falsely stated Michels Corp. has no black employees in management positions.

The next day they ran a major correction, admitting, “Correction: An earlier version of this story incorrectly said that public documents showed Michels Corp. does not have Black employees in management positions.” It turns out Hess misinterpreted documents from a single subsidiary as applying to the entire massive company.

Their journalists and the Democratic Party amplified the false claim on social media and online.

We went on LinkedIn to see how long it would take us to find black managers at Michels Corp. It took a couple of minutes.
