Inauguration 2.0 [Up Against the Wall]

This is a column by Terrence Wall.

I’m not going to talk about all the bad (beep) that has been imposed on the American people over the last four years. Instead, we’re going to talk about the great things to come.

Trump is not even president, and he’s already gotten a few of the hostages released. This whole situation is so Reaganesque. For those of you who don’t know, the Iranian hostages were held for over 444 days under Jimmy Carter, but as soon as Reagan was elected, Iran started negotiating, and on the afternoon of Reagan’s inauguration, the hostages were released and arrived in Germany.

So, hostages were released. A cease-fire, a real one this time, is now in place, again due to Trump and he’s not even president yet. This week is going to see a rapid-fire list of presidential actions; pardons for January 6th, closure of the border, revocation of Biden’s executive orders, approval of the Keystone pipeline, and much more.

Soon thereafter, the economy will pick up, inflation will come down as Trump delivers on his promise of lower oil prices. At some point, the illegal roundup will begin. And hopefully, hopefully, the border patrol will be given authorization to apprehend the Mexican gang members who cross illegally into the U.S., to send a message that their business in our country is over.

Inauguration

Trump says he will end the mutilation of minors. No more boys in our daughters’ bathrooms or on girls’ sports teams. No more DEI mandate. I’ve personally seen how destructive some DEI agents can be, brainwashing students, punishing those who don’t fall in line, and rewarding those students who repeat the DEI party’s line.

The most exciting thing that I think will happen is both the restrengthening of the morale of the armed forces and the creation of a missile defense shield. You know, I was in Hawaii when the accidental phony incoming missile alert came through on our phones, and we had to rush down to the basement of Disney’s Aulani. It was a false alert, but we didn’t know that at the time.

Ironically, I confidently (and wrongly) explained to my children that Hawaii must have a missile defense system that will take out the incoming missiles from North Korea. Boy was I wrong. It’s hard to believe that every president, Republican, and Democrat, has left us naked and exposed to enemy missiles. It’s really hard to believe, but that is how pathetic politics is. Only Trump has promised, and I believe he will deliver a missile defense shield.

And the best thing yet, Trump has promised to push education back to the states, ending the Department of Education. We don’t need Washington telling us what to do. Get out of our lives!

And remember, all this, is brought to you not just because of Trump, but because Wisconsin pushed Trump over the 270 electoral college vote total, putting him into the White House. And let me tell you, the Democrats are not too
happy about that.

We raised over $741,000 in Dane County and we found for you, getting more than 23% of the vote for Trump to defeat the leftist Marxist forces of evil. Since the moderates in the Democrat party wouldn’t do it, we did it for them. It’s exciting to be an American again! Be proud. Go forth and shout out your American pride.
