Isaiah Walker Stott: Milwaukee Gunman Posted Anti-Trump Video, Sources Say

-

Three sources told Wisconsin Right Now that the Milwaukee Police Department believes the gunman who shot a police officer on Feb. 12 is named Isaiah Walker Stott.

WRN has located Stott’s Facebook page. In a video posted yesterday, he wears the same shirt as the shirt worn by the gunman in a photo from the scene. His page says Isaiah Stott was in the U.S. Marine Corps and has worked as a machinist and for McDonald’s. He is from Milwaukee and has no Wisconsin criminal history.

WRN has decided to publish the name because the media sometimes sanitizes the backgrounds and posts of police shooters. We think the public has a right to scrutinize the backgrounds of people who shoot cops.

“I was pushing you all to make moves because I was stressing my sh*t. I still have things to work on,” a shirtless Stott said in a rambling video posted just hours before the shooting. “Live your true self. Live your truth. That’s all I can say. Be happy.”

A day ago, Stott posted a video to his Facebook page, prominently displayed, that featured former Vice President Mike Pence and the words, “Stand against Trump. Stand for your country.” The video includes people calling Trump a tyrant and a dictator. The motive for the shooting is not yet clear, however.

He also rambled about “tools.”

“Think of a firearm. You can use a firearm for self-defense, just like you can use a firearm for like devious, evil intent. You have to trust in the people to be able to control themselves, but that’s an issue in society. The reason why we are seeing all these negatives in society, is because there are too many people falling into that deep dark hole all by themselves, and they aren’t reaching out to people.”

Stott posted a stream of videos and posts yesterday. He also posted yesterday, “Don’t let the devil win, cry now but wipe your tears, apologize and relax when you yell. The devil wants your souls don’t let him have it.”

The officer, who was shot twice according to sources, is recovering in the hospital. His condition is not yet clear, but the MPD says his wounds were serious. Stott was shot and killed at the scene. We have the officer’s name but are withholding it until the department formally releases it.

MPD wrote in a press release that Milwaukee Police Department officers “were dispatched to the 700 block of North 27th Street for a subject walking down the street firing shots from a large gun.”

“Upon arrival, the officers encountered the armed suspect and gave him orders to drop the gun. The suspect refused and fired shots at the officers. An officer returned gunfire subsequently striking the suspect. A different officer was struck by the suspect’s gunfire during the exchange. The suspect’s semi-auto rifle was recovered.”

MPD did not name the suspect.

Isaiah Stott also shared the day before the shooting posts by another man from a different state that read:

“I pray for my people 😔💔”

“2025: American still telling me to be black but quiet. “Dont uplift your people. Listen to artist who destroy your communities by influencing the wrong sh*t yeahhhhhh. That’s the black we want. Follow the rest of the (racial slur) we have docile already yeahhhh “ I say f*ck em I’m loud and proud with miiiiiiiiiiiiiine ‼️ Sorry🤷🏾‍♂️”

His profile reads, S”eek and ye shall find; there is no greater seeking process than the scientific method ✝️☮️☸️✡️🕊️🌀”

Yesterday he also said in a video, “I have a premonition I’m going to have some blessings coming my way.” he said then fear “come down on me” and his “turbulence” was “ramped up.”

“I flew too close to the sun,” he rambled.
