Mequon-Thiensville Recall Election: All Four Recall Challengers Lose, Results

With all precincts now reporting, all four conservative recall challengers have lost.

All eyes were on the Mequon-Thiensville recall election, in which conservative parents mobilized in an attempt to take back four seats on the School Board.

Critical race theory, academic achievement concerns, and the district’s response to the pandemic have been driving forces in the closely watched election.

Mequon Recall Election Results

Unofficial results:

Incumbent Akram Khan beat Kristopher KITTELL, 58.16% TO 41.76%

Incumbent Chris Schultz beat Scarlett Johnson, 58.93% to 41.05%.

Incumbent Erik Hollander beat challenger Charles Lorenz, 59.85% to 40.11%

Incumbent Wendy Francour beat Cheryle Rebholz 58.75% to 41.20%.
