The Milwaukee Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer had his car stolen Tuesday night while at a restaurant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin Right Now can exclusively reveal.
Sources tell WRN that Milwaukee Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer had his Audi stolen while he was at a restaurant located near S. 2nd and W. Florida Street.
Sources tell WRN Budenholzer left his keys in the Audi.
We are told off-duty Milwaukee Police Captain James Campbell arrived on the scene and took Budenholzer home.
“They did a lot extra for him they don’t do for Joe citizen,” a source told us. “Especially for a guy whose team hates cops.”
According to Milwaukee Police, the vehicle was later recovered in the area of the 1100 block of N. 21St early Tuesday morning.

Milwaukee Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022, at approximately 11:14 p.m., in the 400 block of S. 2nd St. The victim, a 53-year-old Milwaukee male, last saw the vehicle at approximately 7:10 p.m. On Wednesday November 2, 2022, at approximately 1:27 a.m, the vehicle was ultimately recovered in the area of the 1100 block of N. 21St. (unoccupied). Milwaukee Police continue to seek unknown suspects. As a courtesy, an MPD member provided the victim a ride home.
There have been 7,017 motor vehicle thefts in the city this year so far, according to the City of Milwaukee crime dashboard.
