Milwaukee Police are investigating a double fatal shooting that occurred on Monday, January 29, 2024, at approximately 2:26 p.m., on the 4900 block of N. Hopkins Street.
Preliminary information suggests that two individuals fired shots at each other subsequently striking each other. A 16-year-old sustained fatal injuries and died on the scene.
The second individual, a 21-year-old, was transported to a local hospital for treatment and later died at the hospital.
