Not once did Tammy Baldwin defend Israel in the TikTok video. Instead, she stood there like a deer caught in the headlights and refused to take a stand.
U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin has a growing problem on the left and with younger voters, as evidenced by the fact she’s become a TikTok trend, and not in a flattering way.
Pro-Palestinian activists confronted Baldwin on video as she spoke in front of a garage. Some of the videos have been viewed thousands of times. She was trying to speak about healthcare.
Throughout the videos, which have been shared multiple times on TikTok, Baldwin looked like a deer caught in the headlights, pausing and never fully addressing the activists’ comments. She also never stood up for Israel as they accused the Jews of committing genocide. It’s not clear when the videos were recorded, although they were posted in November 2023 and reference current events relating to Israel and Gaza.
Tammy Baldwin Videos
@amina.nut Wisconsin Senator Tammy Baldwin questioned by her constituents about her actions in response to the ongoing gen*cide of the Palestinian people. “The Palestinian people are not on a schedule!” We must hold all our elected officials accountable. People filled comment threads with negative comments about Baldwin. “Shame will not stop us, those looks and pauses & that they have a time lines we are done waiting for our turn, this is our turn SPEAK UP EVERYONE!!” one person wrote.
Although the TikTok trend involves pro-Palestinian activists, Baldwin has also been criticized for writing a gushing letter of support in 2019 for CAIR, a pro-Islamic group with alleged links to Hamas.
Ironically, Tammy Baldwin’s record of supporting Israel has been weak over the years. She proudly supported the Iran deal, opposed sanctions against Iran, voted against an act making it illegal to boycott Israel, opposed Israel’s annexation of the West Bank, supported the creation of a Palestinian State, and voted against an act that would give security funding to Israel.
But that’s not enough for the left-wing activists, who are perhaps noticing that, as is typical of her, Baldwin is now trying to remake herself as tougher on Hamas now that she is up for re-election and expected to face a tough Republican challenger, likely businessmen Eric Hovde or Scott Mayer. Multiple pages shared the Tammy Baldwin video on TikTok.

“Israel is committing a genocide in Gaza right now; will you support a ceasefire to save lives right now,” an activist demanded in the Tammy Baldwin video.
At some points, the Tammy Baldwin video is edited to cut to a new moment in the same confrontation.
“Senator will you end U.S. funding to Israel?” an activist demanded.
Baldwin pauses and starts to say, “and the affordable care act” but she is cut off again.
“Sen Baldwin I worked on your campaign in 2018, and I was proud to support you then but unfortunately I will not be supporting you unless you vote to end the aid to Israel,” a man told Bladwin.
Baldwin then spoke about food and medicine going to Gaza “right now.”
“I’m speaking as a constituent; I’m speaking as an LGBT community member. I’m speaking as a Jew. It won’t stop the genocide,” a woman told Baldwin.
A woman with Baldwin then said, “Can you understand we’re on a schedule? Let her finish her comments. We’re letting you talk. It’s not at the right time. Can you understand that?” But that seemed to upset the activists more.
“Palestinian people are not on a schedule. They’re being bombed as we speak,” a person said.
“How many children have died today?”
“You have aided and abetted this.”
Another video starts at a slightly earlier moment.

It shows Baldwin start by saying, “We are a battleground state,” before an activist says, “Senator, what’s at stake right now are the lives of Palestinians.”
The caption on that Tammy Baldwin video reads, “The whole world has woken up. You will no longer deceive us. Free Palestinian.”
