President Donald Trump is holding a rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on April 2.
That’s presidential primary day in the swing state of Wisconsin, where Trump has surged into a lead against President Joe Biden in recent polling. In February, polls showed the race was virtually tied in the battleground state, which Trump won in a 2016 upset.
Voters in Wisconsin have soured on Biden’s economy, as well as the lack of border security under his administration.
There are also a host of local elections and two important constitutional amendments on the April 2 ballot. The first amendment would ban the use of private money in elections i.e. like the cash that flowed into Wisconsin from Mark Zuckerberg. The second amendment says that only official election officials can manage elections, not private parties funded by tech billionaires.
The Green Bay rally was confirmed in an announcement from Trump’s campaign. How can you get tickets?
