Trump’s Assassination Attempt Raises These Major Questions [Up Against the Wall]

trump suspect
Trump suspect is dead.

This is an opinion column.

First, let’s remember those who died or were shot in this assassination attempt.

I am a delegate to the Republican convention that starts tomorrow in Milwaukee, and my comments are mine alone and I do not speak for the party.

Delegates to the Convention Tomorrow –

• The Republican Party was already united, but this incident will definitely unite Republicans even more. And it will unite Americans behind Trump. This is a huge wake-up call to all Americans that the radical left will do anything to grab power so they can impose their Marxist agenda.

• I already know 3 Democrats who told me over the last few months that they will vote for Trump, and one, in particular, is a telltale sign – a lifelong Jewish Democrat in New York has told me he will not vote for Biden or the Democrats.

• Another Biden supporter told us last night he thinks that this seals the deal for Trump.

• But don’t be fooled, Americans need to vote; don’t be complacent; don’t let the radical left hijack this great nation.

• I want every conservative American to speak out; stop being afraid; stand up and support democracy.

The Radical Left has done everything it can to try to destroy Trump.

• They impeached him.
• They indicted him.
• They convicted him of phony crimes.
• They have tried to bankrupt him through court fines in phony cases with corrupt judges who have conflicts of interest.

And now a gunman has tried to kill him [editor’s note: his motive has not yet been released, but the FBI says he is Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Pennsylvania. The Washington Post is reporting that a state database identifies Crooks as a Republican voter. Crooks donated to a liberal turnout organization, according to FEC records. Read more about Crooks here.].

How much more are the American people going to put up with? STAND UP!

At what point do Americans wake up to the radical left’s attempt to hijack control of this country to satisfy their hunger for power?

And now Trump –

• If he had been killed, I won’t hesitate to say that there could be serious unrest in this country. People are fed up with all these attacks on an opposing political candidate.

• But Trump is strong, he’s tough, and like Reagan, he’ll bounce back, unite the nation, and go on to win.

Secret Service

• I really think the head of the Secret Service should resign. The agents who jumped on Trump were great, but there is something very wrong here. The assassination attempt raises serious questions about whether the Biden administration is deliberately not providing appropriate secret service protection.

• This is another failure of the Secret Service as an organization, and frankly, it gets me and others really angry. Like the Fed, the administration, and every federal department, they’re all distracted by Biden’s demands for the government agencies to focus on woke issues and changing names on assets, choosing their pronouns for their emails, building transgender bathrooms, and and and… They need to re-focus on their jobs and stop all this nonsense. I’ve been one of the few voices to speak out against this crap, and now we need all of you to speak out as well.

• How did a shooter position himself for many minutes on a rooftop with no action by the Secret Service or police in spite of eyewitnesses attempting to alert them?

• Why didn’t the Secret Service snipers on the rooftops see the shooter?

• Why didn’t the Secret Service snipers on other rooftops take this guy out – i.e. why didn’t they shoot the shooter before he took his multiple shots?

• After the President was shot and agents jumped on him, where were the SWAT team and police and secret service agents who should have formed a second ring around the president, standing tall, to shield the president from a follow-on shot?

• Why isn’t the podium also built as a bulletproof box that allows the president to get down inside of it, protected on 3 sides, lined with steel – in addition to the short, bulletproof, linear barrier?

• This is another failure of the Secret Service to protect candidates for president; Teddy Roosevelt In Wisconsin, FDR, Truman, John Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, George Wallace, Ford, and Reagan. All were shot at.

Remember, the Secret Service aren’t just protecting our candidates for public office, they are literally protecting democracy, because there can be no democracy if our candidates for public office are killed in action.

But what really pisses me off is the decision to run the protestors ‘marching/parade route’ right in front of the hotel housing numerous delegations, including in particular the Wisconsin delegation. It’s clear that this decision to turn the protestors’ marching route towards the Wisconsin delegation hotel could create points of contention and increase the chances that violence will erupt. If the Milwaukee mayor wanted a peaceful convention, he’d make sure to separate the two groups to avoid violence. But nope. A protest organizer told the media they had reached a deal with the city to protest just one block away from Fiserv Forum.

In conclusion, Republicans are united, and I think now all Americans will be united behind Trump.
