Veep Debate – I love Walz’s response in which he said Minnesota farmers have seen “droughts and floods back to back”. Hello! Does he even know the definition of a drought? (A prolonged period of low rainfall…) So, just exactly how does Minnesota have back-to-back droughts and floods?
Vance did fantastic, and no, I’m not biased. Walz didn’t do too badly, either. The left was smart and lowered expectations for Walz in advance, lowering the bar that he had to reach. But the visual is also important – young, confident Vance vs. overweight, old, white-haired, balding Walz. Vance came across as honest, sincere, and trustworthy. Walz has to defend the inane policies of Harris, and Vance’s analogy of whack-a-mole is right on.
As a guy who has spent some time in Minnesota, since the state is right next door to Wisconsin, I can tell you from personal experience that it’s a liberal train wreck. Walz can pretend to be this gun-owning, reasonable guy, but in reality, he’s one of the most liberal governors in the country. He allowed the crazies to burn the city and destroy police stations and private property with no consequences. He’s turned the state into a giant experiment in socialism. Crime is totally out of control in the two largest cities, just google the crime stats. Think of Minnesota as a little Europe, where there are a few big, woke corporations that are in bed with the leftist government, where a couple of highly dense cities control the vote outcome for the entire state, where the traffic is horrendous and highways have destroyed any sense of neighborhood in Minneapolis-St. Paul, where you cannot leave anything on the seat of your car or even small change in the cup holder, because your window will be smashed in and everything stolen in broad daylight in ‘safe’ areas. (In Wisconsin, by contrast, a woman could literally leave her purse on the seat with the doors unlocked in the vast majority of the state and it would still be there when she returns.)
So yeah, if you want to vote for Walz, This is how the left wins elections, by re-branding themselves as reasonable, middle-class people conspiring with the leftist media to hide their true selves because if they let the cat out of the bag, few would vote for them.
Iran’s Attack – Iran’s direct attack on Israel is a huge escalation of the war in the Middle East, and all Biden and Harris have to say is to urge Israel to ‘de-escalate’. Harris never calls on Iran and their agents to de-escalate. Never. But Israel has done an awesome job of taking out the terrorist leaders, a program that America should follow.
Chaos Chaos Chaos – You want WW3? Vote for Harris. There is so much chaos in the world today due to the lack of strong leadership. Harris can implement any of her policies right now. Why wait? Go for it. Then we’ll see. But of course, she won’t, because she knows that if any of her policies are implemented before the election, it will crash the economy and she’ll lose the election.
As someone who has an economics degree, I can assure you that Harris’ plan to raise taxes and also to tax your unrealized gains on assets is a disaster waiting to happen. Think about it. Being taxed on gains you have not be paid in cash (that’s what unrealized means) means having to sell part of those assets (stocks, bonds, real estate, etc.) to pay that tax. Then, the next year, they would have to sell more to pay the tax again. And on and on. Very soon, within four years, I estimate, the entire asset base would have to be sold to pay the tax on unrealized gains. Oops, but wait, there’s more. Since everyone would be forced to sell assets to pay the tax, it would quickly result in a crashing stock and bond market. It would also result in a crashing real estate market, and her tax would destroy millions of small businesses. Then the banks would fail as businesses default on their loan. Hundreds of millions of people would then lose their savings in the banks above the insured levels. Then, there would be a massive second Great Depression. Of course, the solution of the left would be another government program to solve the problem that they created. Then, after the economy collapses, the terrorist nations would launch their attacks, seeing us as vulnerable, and we’d be in WW3. You choose. Vote Today.
